Look from the outside to the world I left behind.
I’m dreaming, you’re awake.
If I were sleeping,
Once I’d say
A day without me.

What are the feelings I’ve been feeling?
What are the feelings to let me out?
Today’s a day without me.

    if i’m not mistaken…and i’m rarely mistaken….that reference is none other than U2! now that song will be stuck in my head all day!!

    of course only now do i see that you actually credited U2 ….what a dork! still i recognize the lyrics immediately!! i should go on some sort of game show missing the obvious and knowing obscure song lyrics are the key to winning!
