Bye-Bye, Bladdy!

So, after a few doctors appointments, I finally have an answer. If you’ve been reading for over the last year, you’ll know my gall bladder has been freaky. So, all of the pain and stuff I’ve been experiencing is because he decided to wig out on me again. This time I fight back.
Next Friday, October 20, at 6am, I will be saying goodbye to my gallbladder (whom I have affectionately named “Bladdy”). And I am thinking, for those of you in the DFW area, what could be more fun than a going away party for my gallbladder? So Thursday, October 19 at 8pm, we are going to have a “Bye Bye Bladdy” party at the newest and best cafe in Rockwall, Texas Roast. Please RSVP here or shoot me an email. Woohoo for gallbladder parties!
Prayers of course are appreciated. If you’re a need-to-know kind of person, read here to see what they’ll be doing.

so unfair. stupid kansas. stupid kansas not having gallbladder issues. it isn’t fair that i was with you for other fake surgeries and i can’t be there for a real one. dang. i will be praying. stupid.

we should have satellite bye bye bladdy parties around the world for you…or not. ;)
my cousin had to have hers out and life was night and day different for her, so i hope it helps out for you too.

Ok, that is probably the weirdest thing I’ve known Anne Jackson to do. And, I’m so thouroughly devastated that I can’t bid farewell to bladdy in person.
I think I’ll compose a song in bladdy’s honor and sing it here in the great state while you guys are “celebrating”.
Good luck with the slicing…I hope they give you the good drugs!

my mom and sisters are coming in from MN on Weds. night, and i’m not sure that’s the TX entertainment they had in mind. :)

What’s with people having their gallbladders taken out lately, it’s like the hip thing to do or something. I actually know 2 people under the age of 20 who had their GB removed within the past year, both of them still have the same symptoms they had before btw. Anyway, hopefully you’re really does need to be removed and it’s not just another case of a gallbladder obsessed doctor.
