i swing both ways

mac? pc? i use both. the below photo was taken from my iMac of me using my HP laptop. working in communication is fun because you do get some cool toys. which do i prefer? i really don’t care. does that make me bad? probably. they both do their work just fine…no machine out-performs another. sure, my pc doesn’t have a built in camera, but my illustrator always “unexpectedly quits” on my mac.

what about you? which way do you swing?

PC for me.
But I wouldn’t say I’m anti-mac… except for around the church office where there is a friendly rivalry. “They” email us the latest mac commercials… “we” include the words “macs suck” in any email sent directly or cc’d to “them”.
I’d be curious to know if there is this teasing and banter in other church offices.

I really hate Windoze.
It may have to do with my upbringing; I started on Apple DOS, which came out before the Macintosh line started. I can’t abide the thought of switching.

you liking both pc and mac = sinner

You’re a lefty? That’s the first thing I noticed- you were using your left hand with the mouse. Or the whole thing is mirrored a la Photo Booth.
Anyway, I have my Mac and my Toshiba set up here too.

The wise people are the ones who realize that the machine is there to serve us…us serving the machine.
The wise people understand that for everything there is a season and for every job there is a more effective tool. For some jobs…like editing video…a mac is far superior. For others…like tyoing in Word…flip a coin. For proprietary software that only works in Windows…perhaps a PC is the ticket.
The BIG LIE is that one machine does it all. There is no such machine. Anyone who tells you otherwise is an idiot ( I mean that in a noce way).
I have PC’s and Mac’s of all varieties, power, & age…I don’t really trust an of them…

All I know…I wish Anne would put a spell-checker in her comment box! Or…perhaps I shouldn’t type on my Mac laptop with a puppy in my lap… OR….perhaps the really wise people proof-read….

I am so not mac-tastic, which is sad, because I’ve had so much experience with them. They just aren’t comfortable for me. I guess my PC experience is more dominant in my brain.

I’m down with both. But I’ll deny I said that to the Mac users in my office. I can’t hide my glee when one of those fanboys little toy breaks.

I go both ways only because my school district is all PC.
Someday, I won’t have to poison my brain with all of the PC nonsense. We’ll all be raptured and spared an eternity of the burning fires of Windows.

I’m with you on liking both. iChat with a dot mac account beats Skype any day for online writing and voice lessons from nyc to la. But I love right-clicking.

I am both ways. The only reason I don’t go all Mac is because of games.

You know I’m a PC addict sis. Build my own, fix my own.
One of the main reasons I don’t like macs is the closed architecture. MAC certified hardware is Bullsh..
but computers are just computers, software is just software. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t no matter who made them.
