that reminds me of my favorite “Everybody loves Raymond” episode where Debra wrestles with the turkey and finally throws it in the oven. Jason and I laugh so hard every time we see that one. thanks for a great way to start the day–smiling and laughing. :)

My wife and kids are obsessed with this commercial. It is pretty fun, although like Hope above I couldn’t help but think of the germs…

I was in charge of cooking the Turley last year - my mother-in-law still has a concussion. So, this year I’m buying an even bigger turkey!

I know, I’m a bad boy - but ever since the concussion she can’t remember who I am and our relationship is so much more Christ like. God does work in the face of tragedy.

I just think of the Friends and Seinfield Thxgiving episodes…I have never touched a turkey that wasn’t cooked and by the grace of God never will!

Makes me wonder about the merit of defrosting a turkey in a sink…especially one that looks to be about 20lbs. Did anyone else get a wierd feeling that the turkey was looking at her (sans head of course) when she pulled it up by both wings? Maybe that’s just me…

As much of a cook I am, for Thanksgiving and Christmas, glad I have Fred Meyer by my side (owned by Kroeger now, I don’t know if you guys have it in Mid/South/East).

Submit a request, check the box “turkey dinner for 8″ and write a check for $39.95.

Comes with mashed taters, pies, cranberry sauce, side dishes and dinner rolls :)
