BTW - looking forward to seeing you @recreate in Feb.

One hour. Our polling place was a mess… they didn’t have the signage right on check-in lines, so I wasted 20 minutes in line to get my ballot, only to find I was in the wrong line. 40 minutes later, I finally had my ballot and could vote.
The worst part? The lines by last name were anything but equal. As I stood in the “R-S” line, waiting for what seemed an eternity, I watched no less than 100 others walk right up to the table to sign in, get their ballot, and vote with no waiting whatsoever.

25 minutes at the Six Flags Over Jesus megachurch in our neighborhood. It would’ve been less were it not for the major incompetence of one of the election clerks who insisted on doing the jobs that her two colleagues were supposed to be doing in addition to her own. Everyone in line started giggling when she told them it was “more efficient” that way. I love democracy!

they didn’t have our names on the list, which we didn’t find out until AFTER we waited in the L-Z line…..then, we had to wait in the “we don’t have you on our list” line…..then, we voted…..then, we went back in the “i voted, and I need my special envelope to drop my ballot in the box” line.
then i got my sticker.
i put it on my boob.
